    Spam Filters

My friend is having a bad problem with spam. She uses OE and is very frustrated with the excessive amounts she's been getting lately. I have never had much trouble with spam and wonder if anyone could recommend a good program for outlook express. She does not wish to change email clients, so please forget about that.

It's a shame Google don't actually make a seperate one, there spam filter in Gmail is excellent.

I like Outlook Express Spam Filter, works well and blocks the obvious crap that comes in.

Spam is easily thwarted by setting up 2 email accounts.

One to hand out to spam crazy businesses.

One to give only to family and friends.

See if you can hook her up with another account since it's the most simple and effective way of dealing with spam.

Is another account out of the question? If it is, then tell her to put up with the spam.

I know that and you know that, but she does not and a new email account is not an option for her. Personally, I use [email protected] for registering shit.
