The High Court order follows a 12-month covert investigation by the Federation Against Software Theft (Fast).
Among the internet providers are BT, NTL, Telewest and Tiscali.
Over the next two weeks, they are expected to provide the names, addresses and other personal details of the alleged file-sharers.

oh dear, if the BBC article is true I may be in a bit of trouble, Ive been using DC++ for over 3 years on Telewest, sharing music, movies and software, literally all day everyday
Ive never had a cease letter in the past but think ill settle down for a while or at least unshare my music and software and stick to TV shows instead
