    Prog. that changes OS

    i saw a small program that allowed you to chose wich OS to run from startup in here a while ago, and i cant seem to find it anymore, so any help would be very apprecieated

    And on the Linux front, I assume so because after it installs it runs before any OS loads.

    how about LILO? i've never had issues with it (GRUB ate my hard drive once)

    Yeah, if you're just running Windows and Linux, might as well just let the Linux distro install a bootloader - it'll be less work on your part and it'll work fine with both Windows and Linux.

    I believe most Linuxes have a preinstalled bootloader. I dont remember how to configure it but I run Windows xp and Fedora Core 4 and I dont remember installing any secondary software for booting the OS, yet I can choose what I want to load at the beggining.

    Yeah grub can be a bugger to configure and set up. Lilo is so much easier.
