I know NAT Errors have been discussed at length. And I have read the majority of the posts. And experienced little to no help from them...

I have been file sharing using the same client for a long while with no real problems. However, this is the first semester I have lived on-campus and I am not using my University's WAN / LAN. I had not installed S2 until now, because my University required it to access their network. Now that I have installed it and gotten on their network, nothing but problems ensue...

My specs...

I am running WINXP Pro sp2 with all the latest updates. I have disabled the Windows Firewall. My only AntiVirus software is AVG. I am using the latest version of Azureus as my Bit Torrent client, and all my software and Java updates are up-to-date. The service I use for Torrents requires that my incoming TCP port be within the range of 49152 through 65535, and mine is currently set to 49200. I have disabled UPnP in Azureus. I know that SP2 regulates the number of incoming TCP connections to 10, but I switched it to 10,000.

I am getting speeds of less than 1Kb only, and all red and yellow indicators. I am also getting Error messages like there is no tomorrow...

I am sure that the problem must be somewhere within my University's routers, right? And I have to use PortFowarding to overcome it... Howver, I do not have access to them in any way, it is forbidden for students, ESPECIALLY for those of us who engage in file sharing...

What should I do? Are there any settings I can modify to make this work? Or should I switch to a different client? Or maybe leave the Bit Torrent world entirely, in favor of eMule or an updated KazAa? (Though I have used solely Bit Torrent for the last 2 years and am incredibly happy with it!!!)

I know I am kind of behind the ball on this one... but everythign has worked fine for me for so long, that I kind of neglected learning how to overcome such hurdles... Thanks for your patience and your help!
