    Question overkill

hi all. overall, what is best p2p for music. i used to winmx but that was awhile ago and looking for something else. limewire seemed to slow my pc down and loaded some spyware, etc. when i checked out ares, the dload process kept prompting me that it wasn't secure/couldn't verify license so i didn't do anything with it. i'm glad there is a lot of information, guides, reviews, ratings, blah blah blah when i do a general google search. but that is just adding to my frustration. i've used zeropaid over the years when i wasn't sure about something and you guys kick ass at this kinda thing. in general, what do you suggest for simple music dl's?

They're almost identical (certainly in content) Limewire Pro lets you connect to more peers simultaniously. (The same thing Forstwire does for free.)

You should try Frostwire, fleecy, as frostwire filters out a lot of junk files, You know, the hundreds of files all under a meg that are exactly the same size, none of that with frostwire.

Personally I use neither. My delicate ears(!) have endured enough poor quality, less-than-128kbs tracks to last two lifetimes.

(I use emule and torrents, btw).

Please people, drop Limewire and Fronstwire. I'll never know how people got turned on to this Java POS (although for a brief time, I thought it was good too). Ares network just doesnt cut it anymore either. Bearshare Lite is a far, far better client. Very fast for music and very little in the way of fakes. I like to test all the networks out and see what works best for me. So please, try them all out and make up your own mind. But I promise you, you'll love Bearshare lite.
