Hello. A software that I installed recently just screwed me over big time.
I just installed a dictionary program on to my WindowsXP sp2, but right after I finished the installation, this little message popped up:
'The instruction at "0x77f175c3" referenced memory at "0x77f175c3" The
memory could not be "written"'
Then after that, an error report thing popped up, yadda yadda, "Send" "Don't Send". Either way, after clicking on either one of the option, the above message popped up again, and Explorer terminates and restarts. Then the error report popped in again, and cycle continues.
Anyways, I restarted the computer, but right when Windows load, the error thing pops in again. Thus, I cannot uninstalled or debug the program directly in Windows.
And before you suggest Safe Mode, my computer doesn't have one... at least I don't know how to activate it :p
Its a HP brand machine, and its got its own recovery system. But after I wen through with it, the error thing still pops up. So either way, I'm pretty much stuck. I can't even use my computer right now (I'm typing on my parents' >_>').
So, please heeelp. and thank you in advance.

You can't hit "F8" key right before Windows start to get into Safe Mode?
yes you computer has safe mode, safe mode is a part of windows, unless HP started shipping linux machines you have it.

To use the F8 key to start Windows XP in Safe mode
1. Restart the computer.
Some computers have a progress bar that refers to the word BIOS. Others may not let you know what is happening.
2. As soon as the BIOS loads, begin tapping the F8 key on your keyboard. Do so until the Windows Advanced Options menu appears.
If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. If this happens, restart the computer and try again.
3. Using the arrow keys on the keyboard, select Safe mode and then press Enter.
