    ISP Bandwidth Question

When our ISP provides us the limited bandwidth, does that imply the speed of our transfer rate or does that imply how much we can transfer for each month? Or is it both? Just a question.

It means your monthly download bandwidth. You could be limited to download 10GB a month, the speed doesn't apply here but your set a speed limit also. Typical packages are 2MB Down / 512K Up with a 20GB Download Limit.

My ISP is in the back arse of nowhere, nobody has even heard of it. My speeds very quick and I have no limit and no worries.

Ice Communications LTD, it's based mainly in Meath and parts of Dublin. I have 2MB / 512K Home Plus connection with no download limits.

It's a simple Wireless Antenna with a radio box on the roof and an Ethernet cable straight down into my laptop. It was set up ready in 30 minutes.

You just have to check out their cheaply made Microsoft Word site, no effort at all. Not even a bit of Flash - http://www.icecomms.net/

Theres a 40gb cap on my 3meg ntl connection but i have always gone way over it without any warnings plus the ntl news server is pretty good with a decent file retention.

Thats the only thing my ISP is missing (which I must email about) a damn News Server. Other than that, the service is kicking.
