windows 2000

ok i have windows me but i want to get windows 2000.i have heard that instead of upgrading i should do a clean install of windows 2000.which windows 2000 version is the best that i could get?

I'm using the Millenium that this computer came with, and I still like it.. :)

I do clean installs too. Sometimes an upgrade will work well, but sometimes it doesn't, and the system will seem act weird after the upgrade.

The one I have is Windows 2K with service pack 3 multiboot, which I updated with service pack 4 update rollup at Microsoft's site.

Windows 2000 Professional is the best one and a clean install is always best. After you install, use WU to update the Service Packs.
