    Question FAT32 to NTFS

    is there any way of changing FAT32 to NTFS with out losing DATA?
    my laptop's C drive is FAT32 which contains the OS and all the softwarz!! i wana change it to NTFS so if u have any suggestions let me knw!

    Assuming you're using XP open a command prompt, run -> cmd, and type
    CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS

    what if I am running XP and want to convert NTFS to FAT

    There is no way in xp to do this. You will have to use a third party app such as partition magic.

    Why in the world would you want to do this?

    You can't go back from NTFS to FAT without having to reformat the drive.
