Which is better? Shareza or uTorrent? Does uTorrent download faster or have spyware?I'm currently getting 8 KB/s for "adaptation (2002)" which is one of the more rare movies out there. Is this usual, or could I do better with uTorrent?
speedwise they will be about the same... I'd switch to uTorrent though just because its a more efficient client.

That's it for now. This list will be updated whenever I feel like it.
They're in a different league altoghter.
Shareaza is better because it has 3 netwoks uTorrent hasn't but all you need is BT and uTorrent is one of the best programs I've ever come across in a very long time.
You can't compare these too programs, and if you compare their BT skills, uTorrent by far. Shareaza has a terrible BT interface and handling skills.
what can utorrent do that shareaza cant?
like, im getting about 15 KB/s. for it to be practible, i need to get max about 140 KB/s.. I think i config'ed shareaza right, but, um... would i really get better download speeds? or is it just interface stuff?
Shareaza is a gigantic client doing multiple things at once. You're better off with three seperate clients, IMHO. uTorrent for BitTorrent, eMule for eD2k, and FrostWire or gnucleus for gnutella.
uTorrent is 115KB, slim and sleek. Supports DHT, selected downloads, NAT traversal (shareaza does not have these features). Simply put, its a better, more capable client for BitTorrent.

okay. I trust you guys. But why am i getting about .9 kB/s for uTorrent, and 15 KB/s for shareaza?
if u have a router (nat) do a search for "port forwarding"Originally Posted by magnetwolf7

.
Check about port forwarding or configuring your firewall. or if both clients are on at the same time, Try closing one of them and see if the other goes faster.Originally Posted by magnetwolf7
