Two Classic video game series head to head

Okay, My two favorite video game series of all time Needs to go head to head. I can't take it any longer. I have to know what the majority of people prefer @_@

Mega Man is one of the greatest series of all time in my opinion as every game of this series just creates more questions that needs answering. It creates anticipation just by leaving out so much that needs filling, Like what happened to the original mega man? why isn't zero evil? (he was made by dr. wily after all) and that type of stuff.

And the competitor to mega man? well, Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy just has no bad games. I mean none of the games are bad. There's games that aren't fantastic. But they're by no means bad games. Final Fantasy is so addicting though that you can't seem to stop playing until you're stuck. Also, I do not consider final fantasy the best RPG series at all. It just happens to have quality games every time. My favorite RPG series though is Shin megami tensei.

I like mega man more than final fantasy myself. But final Fantasy's still damn good.

how about a poll between apples and oranges?

you can't compare an action game to an rpg. all you'd get there is partisan bickering between action people and rpg people--these games hit 2 completely different audiences

Funny you should mention. I'm currently playing Mega Man - The Wily Wars. Awesome game. It's basically the NES versions of megaman 1, 2 and 3. I forgot how good that game was until untangled my Megadrive.

That's why I am doing it. Since I like both, I would like to see what people here prefer. I am just comparing two long running series made for two very different audiences :) I know it's weird and all. but that's my point ;)

Man....thats a tough choice. Right now I'm actually playing FFX, and its pretty good. Although Megaman is awesome, comparing the two, the FF series has been more on the move than the MM series. So I would have to vote for that.
