In Ackronic site the poll for final mod name finished today: the name for new mod is eMule P3P. So users and sharers decided the mod name.

Project site should be here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/emulep3p/ (... waiting for SourceForge project account, 2 working days yet ...)

how is ants suposed to be anonomous? (can't spell) does it use each peer to be a proxy for the next? i think in the future, we are going to need a program like that to continue filesharing with all the bribes going around with the lawmakers. i have never tried ants, and it sounds like it would be a waste of time to do so, but the idea of it at heart sounds good.
Here's Britney Spears' private jet... The gulf stream 3 doesn't even have a remote control for its surround sound DVD system. Still think downloading music for free isn't a big deal?

Project is in a planning phase. When you want to develop something with other people, first you open a developer site (... on SourceForge ...), then you invite developers, then you decide all together how implement your ideas, then you write code. That's why on SourceForge there are "Planning", "Alpha", "Beta", ... "Production/Stable". If Planning step is useless, why SF should propose it? Perhaps you think first step is releasing running binaries, then Planning and create a site on SF ...

Yes, it does. ANts is the fastest anonymous network.

eMule P3P is the first multi-protocol client that uses also an anonymous network (ANts, u know). eMule P3P is not yet available. Why? It's just born :icon_cycl

Its all a load of bs. Nobody will develop it. All he did was create a sourceforge project whilst hoping that some ACTUAL programmers take up his fantasy.

ants is dead. no one can look trought he code, there is no documentation, even core and gui are not seperated, rshare and ares 3,0 are proxying as well and very fast.. the ants algo has still to be fixed and the network has 10 users, the atempt to stuck it with edonkey is still not working. so it is dead and the developer ha sno resources to develop it, as it was not ready till the end of exam.. see shareaza... in the end it stays opensurce and no one has the drive to make it his own... ants is just an pre-study of proxy networks, but not the leading and developing proxy network. Even the option to recode it in c++ with all basic functions to implemnt it in emule or shareaza is not done, because the pre-study is even not working in java... so be realistic and use ares 3.0 or Rshare 0.8..

It is almost certain that the new administration is going to be more in favor of Hollywood and the recording industry. It would be smart to revive some of these anonymous projects and have them ready as a backup.
