    hi there,

temporary living in the us i just experienced tough rules over here. my provider, ygnition, terminates my dsl line due to the use of shareaza p2p. :bom:

Any idea to further use shareaza w/o being noticed by ignition? :icon_rr:

Here's Britney Spears' private jet... The gulf stream 3 doesn't even have a remote control for its surround sound DVD system. Still think downloading music for free isn't a big deal?

Did anyone read the terms of service? Was it due to a letter from the **AA?

get a provider that doesn't suck

they probably monitor by bandwidth consumption and traffic patterns so you can't really avoid being seen.

Check what NTL modem you have. Turn it upside down and see which one you have.

There have been reports of "unusual Cable Modem Light sequences". Basically this means lights all flashing together on and off at 1 second intervals. Plus total loss of connection.

    Some points to note:

This does not affect legitimate users, only those obtaining services in an unauthorised manner.

This only applies to the silver ntl:100, 120 and 200 models (I'm using the Silver 120 Modem & have this problem)

    *** Don't call ntl:! ***

Alternatively an unauthorised modem will also frequently lose connection.

Also, just wait a while because NTL have been having problems with the network because of the 10MB upgrades.
