Hey everyone - anyone come acros an issue where the Azureus client just disappears for no reason. I'll be downloading and all of a sudden the thing just disapperas. Running Java Runtime Update 5, with XP SP2 - any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.
Check your taskmanager for javaw.exe and azureus.exe. If they are there chances are it has been minimized to your system tray.
Any ideas what to do?
Did you check the task manager like i asked??Originally Posted by GlenRavine
I get the same thing happening. I have no idea what is going on, but its been happening for about a year now since i've been using the program. Must be a bug.
I never see it in the task manager either by the way.
Well don't see it in task manager - same problem as Ding....oh well - maybe it might be worth trying another client....
Azureus in my opinion is a crap client, i suggest something little and simple, that doesnt use Java.

Hi there. I'm having a problem with the Disributed Databases' UDP port mapping (NAT). I just downloaded the newest version of Azureus 2.3.0.6 and now i'm having this. I think i'm gonna try another client.
Are you behind a router??.Originally Posted by woodlong
well, heres what worked for me. the offending .dll was jvm.dll. you can identify which .dll is causing the problem by looking at the logs in the program files folder titled azureus
so heres the solution
1 open internet explorer
2 tools
3 internet options
4 advanced tab
5 scroll down and unselect "use jre 1.5.0_07 for <applet> (requires restart)"
i have had azureus running for a while now and no crashes. so I hope this helps y'all.
Neither? Might as well pull your pants down and finish the job of letting it all hang out. :0Originally Posted by woodlong
