According to US website GameSpot, he held the store manager up at gunpoint and ordered him to hand over two Xbox 360s. Presumably ones with hard drives.

Nothing I think its overrated.
Although I was thinking of getting one so I could sell it on ebay. That idea never materialised I seriously should of done it. I was thinking of dooing this a long time ago. Oh well maybe next time.

I played call of Duty 2 demo at target for a bit.. The game and graphics are truly amazing.. But they will lose so much money due to a big factor.. Games are gona set on the shelfs til people can get an x360 and that the prices will be forced to drop and lack of sales. So no developer will rush to get any games out til more people on x360. So you may get stuck with no more then 20-30 titles til the full release of xbox360.
Nothing, I'd rather spend my money on a high end video card and then download all the pc games I want. Suckers and their console games.

How much was the PS2 when it came out? Probably three times as much as it is now and it's still a popular games console with no follow up console available yet.
Like with cars, never buy them brand new. They'll only depreciate like a stone and be cheap as fook with a little patience.
Also following up on auggie's idea, most of the time new consols come with many flaws that are only realised on the systems launch. With xbox 360 people are complaining that its crashing, the faulty part is the harddrive. So another reason never to buy a consol at launch.
