    converting files

    could i convert an ed2k file to another file format so it could work with other networks, i hear its possible using some file converters but i just wanted to know your opinions...

    I don't believe you can because it's linked directly to one specific network. And although it maybe on other networks like Gnutella ect. it's still not possible. If you have a certain file in ed2k format, try search it with shareaza because ed2k hooks up with gnutella and increases speeds of the download. I'm guessing that's what your after.. quicker speeds?
