Question Where are all the search results??

Is there a reason why I do not get any search results on v3.1, for any keyword, besides "porn"? The green light is always on in the Networks menu.
    Maybe it's a 56k thing. . .

Maybe, all I know is I'm getting loads of results, a lot more today than yesterday. You firewalled?

It can't be a 56k connection cuz that's what I've got and like Roam, I'm getting :devil many hits on my searches. Did you try to add the open nap protocol networks?

I'm with Blizzard. I have checked out several artists that previously have gotten several hundred hits or more. I now get one or two hits but in most cases get "zero hits". I have a cable modem, running Windows 98 SE with pentium 3 600mhz 512 ram. V3.1 is horrible! Luckily I have Go Back and plan to go back! KaazaLite rules! Faster download and most important reliable.

    Tripodz don't be a dummy

Have you ever stopped for a minute to think that a p2p client released less than 72 hours ago might just need a little time to build up a user base?

Don't go dissing WinMX just because you cant find your stuff, use it for a while, share what you have and help it grow!

Me, I've totally switched over to it, and my 40+ gigs of goodies are there for the taking. And today I could already get more results than yesterday, as more people switch over.

WinMX is technically superior to Kazaa, now all it needs is user support - which it's getting by the truckload!

And by the way Brew, I'm on DSL.

I don't think the problem has to do with the userbase ,since it seems to occur at random. Most of the time, I get thousands of results for popular artists, while at some periods, even generic keywords, such as "dog", won't produce a single result.

My words have been misunderstood... Let me rephrase that...

I didn't mean to sound like you were on 56k Roam... I meant to mean that like you, I am receiving many hits on my searches and am having no problem locating files to dl.
