I recently downloaded a game and burnt the files to cd and succesfully installed it. But when I try to play, I keep getting the message to enter the cd even though its already there. I dont understand why I could install it from the burnt cd but it doesnt recognize it when I go to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
try to find a nocd crack for the game to fix the problem
A world of invisible people. We pass them without seeing them, as casually and indifferently as we pass our own reflections in store front windows. Do they really live among us? Or are they citizens of another country, a vast and teaming gulag of the dispossessed. No, don't turn away. Look in their faces. Do you see your brother? Your mother? An old friend? Someone you went to school with? Someone you once loved? No? You didn't see them? Not today. Tomorrow you could.
LOL! Yeah, what ratbag said. Basically, it is a copy-protection scheme you are running into.
Sounds like a Sim-ulation game I have. Kinda ran into the same problem.
17 USC § 1008 Prohibition on certain infringement actions:
No action may be brought under this title alleging infringement of copyright based on the noncommercial use by a consumer for making digital musical or analog musical recordings.
or too high of a burnt speed?
Almost certainly you need a crack file, which almost certainly came on the disk your computer keeps telling you to insert. Almost certainly you need to drag this file from your burnt CD to the install directly. Which is almost certainly has the same name as the .exe file you are trying to run.
It is also an almost certainty the disk came with or contains a .nfo file which contains the information similar to what I just said but without the sarcasm. Open this file in notepad and read it.
If you have a 1:1 copy and alcohol installed, try hiding the ATIP information.
