    Unhappy help please!

I recently downloaded a game via torrent and in the folder where it was downloaded to, are 4 folders, each folder for each cd of the game. the folders have a bunch of files in them that my computer doesn't recognise.(.r30, .r31, .r32, .sfv etc etc) how do i install this game? do i burn the files to a cd, or what?

Any help will be appreciated, Thanks ALOT

You need a program called winrar. Them files are an RAR archive split up into parts of equal size. Go here http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm and you can download it. It's most likely the contents are ISO images which will need to be mounted onto a virtual CD drive or burned to a CD.

PS: To create a virtual drive and/or to burn the CD's I would suggest alcohol 120% http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/en/ A bit of smart googling will supply you with the "alcohol 120 crack" you need.

Sorry but I will not give advice for that activity. Search here for that. You will need an app that can open .rar files it sounds like.

the r## files are multi-part RAR archives, you can open them with winRAR but if you don't want to bother with shareware or cracks http://www.7-zip.org/ 7zip will open them just fine.

    i recommend http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/s...3.exe?download version 4.23 stable

I would agree that 7-zip is wonderful, but not as user-friendly as zip genius.

Yeah, bin and cue are usually found together and its an ISO image. The .bin is the M (most likely) file and the .cue is the mount or burn information which actually isn't necessary. BTW, zpman was probably only joking about the giving advice quote. He's not a member here purely for the fine company. Google can help you there too!
