help w/download
I have bittorrent and yesterday i would select the torrent and a window would come up with three options run, save or cancel i would select run and the download would begin but today i'm trying and anything i try only the save and cancel options come up and if i save nothing happens, well it saves but not the real torrent, just could anyone help me please, i don't know much about anything, i'm very very new so please try to use very simple language! thanks!

Usually run will download to your brower's cache folder under randomly generated name, if you know the file size & have not cleaned your cache folder you may still be able to find it. Use save if you wish to save your download & into certain folder.

Hurt no more my son.
I use firefox, and set up torrents to auto save to hard drive, and then i double click it and can run, if i choose to , i can run and it will open ABC and never save the torrent on my pc. what client are you using and web browser.

i'm using bittorrent i have noidea which server it is how do i know that?
and if i select save it soesn't start the download but saves a unidentified file wherever i want it to

ok, sorry and thank you sooo much! I got it now, I think... I don't know why it's not happening as it used to but at least it's happening now. another question then if i'm downloading a series and i allready have some of the chapters is it possible to just download part of the torrent?

Yeah, you can or should click on torrent info.. It will have file info, network, and other stuff, and if you check the files your downloading.. you should be able to click on it and options come up to download first, download last, download never... And you can hold shift key and select the ones you want to download only.. but you cant delete those when the torrent is running.. so you may have to shut down your client a few times to delete the rar files after you unrar it to where you want it.. Its like checkers, got to keep moving all the pieces along. i download disk one. .... pause the other disk on the torrent.. and then after you get it.. I unrar it and burn it.. then i delete those rar files and turn the torrent client, now i choose not to download those files and go for disk2... etc.
