p2p news / p2pnet:- Time Warner is in “advanced talks” to sell its America Online unit” to Microsoft, says the New York Post.
“According to two sources familiar with the matter, Time Warner is in talks with Microsoft about selling the stake in AOL and then combining it with Microsoft's Web unit MSN,” says the story.
“Under the plan being considered, Microsoft would pay some money to Time Warner for the AOL stake, leaving the two companies approximately equal partners in the venture.”

Great, That's all the world needs now! Maybe they will call it AOLindows! If you think that the AOL software screws up your System now, wait 'till Microsoft get's their hands on it!
What A Twist!
So far we don't know what Microsoft is trying to do. Maybe just linking ads sharing ad revenue, or Microsoft can use AOL's contents as partner! At least that's what I think would make sense to do the deal.
Also there is a rumor about Google may be interested.
Yeah, its confusing to understand what they mean, but i guess we'll find out soon enough!
