I really use only torrents and the emule network these days.
I used shareaza for a few hours and well it just dosent get me hot.
I still get a low number of returns, and torrents dont seem to work.
Maybe its just me. maybe it's the hunk of the network I have.
it's not my net connection. running a clean connecton no firewall and just a network attact detection server.
connection 3.mb down and 786 up...
I used shareaza alot too. I still have it on my computer. I stopped using it after I got fed up with the search results and downloads that would've go anywhere. Yeah, it seems like it would work really well some of the time and some of the time not so well. It's slow as a bastard, but I still like using Emule for the huge variety of stuff available on it. And for my main movie and game downloading I'll use BitComet. For music downloading, I'd have to highly recommend another program very similar to Shareaza, the great Kceasy. I'll definitely think about giving Shareaza another try if their update works alot better than previous versions.
better torrent handling? ya....ok...
I find Shareaza works quite well for me often ... not always. It works great for popularly available items on the G2 network (lots of stuff is available) and I've found it works well for BitTorrent as well. But Azureus seems to be king of BitTorrent so I use that for BT mainly. Shareaza is good for ed2k as well - it's just s-l-o-w - but that's the nature of ed2k innit?
