Disappointed by QuickTime 7 for Windows

Anybody else notice that Apple has crippled the new release of Quicktime for PC? Last time any software made me pay to see something full screen I was using Real, and I haven't touched that shit since. Apple, congratulations, you've lost one more fan. I can't see why the fuck I would possibly pay them money to watch a video. It's not like they're doing anything revolutionary here. Quicktime is an old-ass, albeit decent format, and H.264 is impressive, but VideoLAN plays it back just as well, and what's it cost? Oh yeah, nothing. Seriously, Apple has the right to make money on their products, but to force me to download a crippled form is too much. Fuck 'em.

You get it for free if you own a apple. Its no differnt then how microsoft is treating apple users giving them half assed conversions of msn. Let me put it this way if you were a os developer and yours programming something for your leading competitors users. Are you gonna give them the same program you give to your own users for free. Isnt that pissing on your own dedicated fans?

you need to get quick alternative for WMPC works so well and i never have to touch quick time again.
Here's Britney Spears' private jet... The gulf stream 3 doesn't even have a remote control for its surround sound DVD system. Still think downloading music for free isn't a big deal?

I use Quicktime Alternative as well, but I have to agree with mountain_rage.
