Need to find WinXP Home Edition ISO

It's for a friend of mine who lost their installation CD, but still has the lisence, and key.

I can't seem to find a torrent that works.

    Thanks, Justin.
Think of it as freeware that the company doesn't know about :)

Can you not get the trial version from Microsoft, and then use the key to activate it?
Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be.

I tried this once for a friend who had a legal key, but it would not accept it after installing XP home...hope it works for you.

Right, often the build will be different etc.

If you still have the Licence and Key, do as Hunter suggests and download it from MS, then call them for registration.

Can't he just get a new replacement disk from Microsoft? They should send him a replacement disk if he can prove to them that he has a legal version of their software. I scratced my legal copy of xp pro one time and ordered a replacement disk from microsoft, but I think it cost me $35.00 for the replacement disk. Which is pretty stupid in my opinion! Since then I make a backup of ALL my software.

Yeah, just call them - I figure they get this all the time. I figure as long as you can provide proof that you actually own it (legit key, etc.), they'll replace it. Otherwise, threaten that you'll be switching to Mac or Linux if they don't comply :P
