I recently got a hold of a few of his classic movies. I have to say, he is just too funny. http://www.worldofcheese.org/knotts/
The Ghost and Mr Chicken - Simply the best! "Attaaa Boy Lutherrr!"
Shakiest Gun In The West - another classic
The Love God - ??? seems like a saw this once, I can't remember and cant seem to find a copy
The Apple Dumpling Gang - Ahhh such memories
Hard as ever and here to make you people believe...as long as there is one person to hold hope and dream...A GOD...will never die!
I liked that one too. Very funny!!The Ghost and Mr Chicken - Simply the best! "Attaaa Boy Lutherrr!"
"And they even used Bon Ami".
lol
you should see the Incredible world of Mr. Limpett (if that's the correct title) classic.
Ive seen it! Its a great one too, I had forgot about that one. Don does look a lot like a fish, they didn't need to use their imagination much when they made a cartoon out of him.Originally Posted by Dark Messenger

When I saw you mention Don Knotts, I KNEW you were going to say The Ghost and Mr Chicken, it's a classic and still entertaining.
.
Don't forget The Reluctant Astronaut
Roy Fleming: We will be touching down in twenty minutes.
Mary: [whispering] I have to go to the bathroom.
Roy Fleming: We have just touched down!
MR ferley! =) 3s company.. He was da big man on Andy Griffith.. Writing tickets to the stupid, giving out false sense of security to the town. Having an unloaded handgun on him at all times, and wanting to do misses B in the muff.
What's the title of the movie, that he went to space instead of a trained monkey?
Never mind, posted the question after it was answered. Slow typist that I am!
He did a good job in Pleasantville too

I hadn't heard about this.He was looking pretty frail(moreso than normal) on the last reuninion special.Ron Howard still attends every one of those. That tells you the respect the industry had for Knotts and Andy Griffith. He was one of the great physical comedians. He had a rubber face not seen this side of Jim Carrey.
I don't need no stinking signature
I wish I could see all the Steve Allen shows Don was on. The clips I have seen are pure classics.

He was also one of the few guest stars that fit perfectly hangin with Shaggy n Scooby Doo.
“The martyr sacrifices themselves entirely in vain. Or rather not in vain; for they make the selfish more selfish, the lazy more lazy, the narrow narrower.” - Florence Nightingale
haha you beat me to it I was going to say that. I think he was in two Scooby Doo episodes.
