    Question Downloading Problems

When I do a search on WinMX I can often get up to 200 results - mostly showing green. However when I try to download they come up 'Waiting For Network Reply' and then go to red.
This only seems to happen when I get a large number of results in the search window. If only 1 or 2 results show up I can usually download these. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you on Primary or Secondary?

Are you using the manually adding additional servers?

WinMX network is for file traders, unless you have something to trade so they will put you ahead of others. Try another network!

These are bogus users. You can't download from them and they always have open slots, usually 7 to 99 open. They are planted by the media industries lap dogs. Aviod them the best you can, they will be obvious as they travel in packs. Join a chat room and browse some of the users there to find legit content to download.

Thats a tactic I used and always completed my files

I have over 70 gb of jpop and the only reason I get what I get is because I have so much trading power.

Also, when I do a search, I look for the file with the most common seeders

I also find good stuff by browsing all the people that are in my queue and from the chat rooms.

You got it! All that is key. You can find some good asian movies that are hard to find. Its a bit of work but I got time to kill (well at times) anyways. It can get to be a bit consuming though. I find myself looking for hours at a time just because I have to see whats out there.
