Zeropaid is looking for several news editors that can assist us in posting news on the homepage. each day over 10 stories are submitted and we need help editing them and pushing them live.

Editing consists of what? Spelling and grammar corrections? Or is more complicated then that?

Either way, I'd say I come by here often enough to help out, so sign me up.

yes, both. but also the editors are responsible for publishing stories on the homepage, which takes only a minute. heres a snapshot of the process:

1) all the stories are placed in a que after being submitted.

2) editors assign a filename to the story.

3) spelling and grammer checks are done.

4) story is pushed to a flat file

5) homepage include is created.

it helps if the editors have some html exp.

ok, great. when i get back from vacation, those of you who i can trust will get access to newsadmin. i would before i go, but im afraid of what might happen if i do.

To become a Moderator or Editor, How much Online Time would that require? IDo you have to have the project done a certain time of day? (I work 40 hrs a week in the day, but can you do the job around nightish?

i need a news mod that can check the site daily to post news. can anyone do this? i sent bloddy a email but no response yet. we need help so we can work on cooler stuff. zp is about to get lots o love!

I check the forum a couple times a day so i should be able to keep things up to date on the news page.

Random Request : can you put the little icons back on the main forum page that show when there have been new posts in a certain forum? Ya know, the little check marks that are either dark or light blue?
