Angry still getting yellow on ABC

I use ABC to download torrents and even after the port forward configuration I do get all the downloads in yellow. I bought a new gateway to get rid of the "yellow fever" because the previous gateway didnt work too fine and I find myself with the same problem... awful. I use windows XP, the gateway is a US robotics 9106, static ip ADSL 512/128. Any help¿

Is ther XP Firewall enabled - Yes \ NO ?

Do you have any other firewall such as Sygate, Zone Alarm?

The port forwarding you refer to, that is on the gateway? On the correct IP address for your PC?

the xp firewall is disabled, and I dont use any other firewall, ABC version is 2.6.9

what do you mean with "On the correct IP address for your PC" ?
the correct address is the IP the ADSL provider gave me, isnt it¿

    thanks for your answer, krell

Have you followed this carefully, every step, without skipping a single line, including all subsections?
    http://www.portforward.com/english/r...onnect/ABC.htm

The static IP is not the external one your ISP gave you, it needs to be the internal IP the computer with ABC on is set to. Most likely starting 192.168....

I know portforward is a lot of reading, but it will be worth it.

Which ports have you forwarded? Double check that they are forwarded to 192.168.1.2. Make sure that ABC is configured to use the same ports as those you have forwarded.

the ports are 6881-6999 as usual and I used 192.168.1.2 as IP, now I get one green but the speed keeps stuck on 6-15 kps :S

Try a different range of ports--maybe 56881-56889. A lot of trackers block the default ports.

change the default ports to higher numbers and make sure your Gateway router has those ports in it to allow it to connect. I changed my ports on abc settings, then change the router ports to match it up.

after the green comes the yellow again (some seasonal reason? summer and then fall?) and the NAT setup is well done (I think), I set it up for 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3 in 6881-6999 and 36881-36999 ranges, now my IP is 192.168.1.3 and the range in ABC 6881-6999 but no way green, Im thinking in returning to P2P via wells&fargo.

    should I use port triggering?

    maybe an ethernet card problem?

    voodoo curse?

thanks all for your help with this puzzle.
