    Ubuntu Linux GRUB not loading

I just installed Ubuntu. Im trying to get more into linux and maybe switch over at some point and use it as my main OS. I installed Ubuntu and at the end installed GRUB to the MBR but when I reset the pc nothing happened it just booted back to windows. Whats the deal?

You did not partition correctly is my guess. That or you accidentally installed Grub to / partition rather than MBR. What is your partition structure like? Let me ask you this: Did you try to use some sort of partitioning software? If so, whatever separate partition you made, delete then try installing ubuntu again. I'll bet this is your issue. delete that partition (not windows!) and choose to install on unused space. It will create new partition for you and format it. Debian install can be tricky for newbies, but once learned fast and easy. Hope this helps.
