Hello yesterday I accidently downloaded some adware and I have tried about seven differnt programs to remove it and nothing has worked. PLEASE give me some tips to remvove it. I have never gotten a pop-up ad before and now im getting 2 a minute!!!! i know there is several threads allready about this but nothing works...
What programs have you tried to get rid of it? Are they updated?

I downloaded them all today and got the adware lastnight. I cant remember them all but what i can remember is The Cleaner, Trojan Searche, Spyware Sweeper and Spybot-Search and Destroy

opened the .exe file
Go to run, type mscongig, and give us a screenshot of the processes running. That should give us a clue as to what is going on. Also what operating system are you running, and do you have all updates?

turn off your MS Windows Messenger, the pop-ups are probably exploiting this program

Not with some of this shit, as to clean some nasties up you have to disable restore.

For the most part you can always choose a previous restore point before the shit happened, restore, then disable restore, reboot, and the shit hidden in the restore files is gone.
