Anyone tried getting / gotten mac os x86 running? they're making real progress. You can now boot it off of a partition, run itunes, etc without an SSE3 chip and hardware support is getting better. I think that a bootable ISO image is not far off.
A part of me wants to do it just to prove to myself that I can, but I am not overly fond of OSX anyway.
If you've gotten it running, tell us how it runs, and how support is (is it functional enough to use as your everyday OS, or too buggy or slow?)
I got it running on my sister's P4 in VMWare, but I'm not going to screw her installation for my own curiosity's sake.
I might have access to another P4 in a couple weeks that I can play with. So I'm just waiting :-)
