Is there any way to get around college firewalls? I've tried BitTorrent, eMule, and WinMX, and none of them work. When using eMule, it says that all of the servers are full except for Super Donkey...and then it gives me a low ID when connecting to Super Donkey. Socks2Http also doesn't work. It says that it can't auto-configure and I don't know how to manually configure it. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Hack their firewall?
What A Twist!
LOL
Why do you people always think you can get around the firewall? Any decent administrator will just keep locking you down. The best you may be able to do is use some random port with an application, but thats no gaurantee either.
.
Yup just like krell said also dont you think they would notice all the bandwith you would be using its pretty easy to spot p2p traffic.
Rest in peace mother

You will always be with me.
I can use bandwidth shaping to limit DHCP assignments to 128k etc, but do you really think that all colleges and universities have unlimited bandwidth? For YOUR consumption? If each student paid an extra $500 for bandwidth, like some broadband omnibus fee, then I could see it, but theres no free ride on someone elses budget.
