Since its inception almost 30 years ago, the internet has been transformed from a primitive device for sharing thoughts and ideas, into a massive network where people pay to connect and read advertisements they don't want, while calling each other "asshats".
Has anybody tried it yet? Has it improved much like they've claimed it to be? BTW, Kayaman.........are you working for XoloX? I see you there on Gnutellaforums as a mod. for XoloX. And YES......what in the blue hell is SaveNow doing bundled up with it as a 3rd party software? Are they selling out? And why is there no news yet on it on ZP? Sorry, too many questions.
There's spyware with the new XoloX? Are you kidding me? That's terrible...I thought they said XoloX would always be free and without spyware and adware. Sellouts.
...I just installed it.
And it has SaveNow and McAfee Security Centre, but they´re both OPTIONAL, during the install process.
I just ran Ad-Aware and it didn´t show anything...
So, no spyware here....
Stupid people shouldn´t breed.

Great!!! A new version Of XoloX. All it needs is one good stable version and the community I think will grow, I think after SoulSeek it could be one of the biggest new p2p out there.
Please let it be stable. Good news about the adware not being bundled totally in that u can select if u want it or not, now everyone is happy, they get the money and we get a p2p app with no HIDDEN spyware. Good job XoloX, keep up the hard work.

Savenow = suck ass , i agree luke. But's its NOT spyware.

Anyway, it's purely OPTIONAL and even if you accidently accept to install it you can cancel it at any time during the install and xolox will not be affected.
I still dislike savenow - but a client has to pay development and server costs somehow. It's pretty clear, either XoloX can try to become successful and keep moving forward and HELP gnutella bring user's over from fasttrack (and yes, that costs money people) OR... everyone can just keep using kazaa and let people leave gnutella for only advanced user's.
I think any Gnutella client that tries to be successful on a grand scale is a positive for all of gnutella - period.

Xolox bundling "SaveNow". I look back at what Xolox acheived. I'm a very sad to here the news, that the Xolox I once used, is now dead and replaced with this hyped up garbage. Goodbye Xolox.

WOW! Man oh man! This REALLY rox! The fastest downloads I have EVER seen! Only thing is though, that it doesn't let you see whom your connected to... But I do like it quite a bit so give it a go! And I mainly use gnutella for movies since it is the FASTEST network.

This is a cool program and its spyware.....you have a choice to install it or not so its still good.....lmmfao,i never thought i would see mcfee become so freakin low as to be considered spyware...:cross
I like XoloX but it is not yet up to the standards of SoulSeek, KaZaA Imesh etc due to the fact that it is relatively new and is being slowed down by Gnutella.
It dont have adware in it but it comes bundled with Ad-Aware and also has an IP blocker init 2.
