    refornating question

    ive been hearing lately that microsoft has managed to disable many pirated key.does that include the famous corporate"devils own key",or will that key still work if you have to reformat?

    They haven't disabled them, they just setup windows genuine advantage - a activex control and windows update add-on that scans for pirate versions of windows. During windows update, there is a simple java script that bypasses the security check but for other things I cant help. I posted the crack for the activex and you can find it here.

    The key you speak of is blocked in SP1 and SP2.

    Do yourself a favor and use a different one.

    but it will install the windows?also,couldnt you use a key changer to change the serial number after its installed?hypothetically speaking,of course :icon_rabb

    Yes that key will install windows, and yes you can use a key changer after the install.

    You have nothing to worry about just dont use auto updates and perhaps antispy xp that should set you straight http://www.xp-antispy.org/
