UDP problems!

Ok....I own a D-Link DI-624 Wireless Router....now I told you this because I have a strong feeling that I MUST have a setting wrong or something on it because if I hook the internet to my computer rather than my router I can get UDP and use a primary connection....however if I connect my internet to the router and connect via my wireless router I cannot do anything but Secondary Connection.....I'm not really sure I'll get help with this but I figure I'll try....thanks in advance to anyone who helps
