Using BitLord the movie im downloading has stopped at 99.9% with 512kb left... The file is a bitlord incomplete file, is there a program to watch this file or convert it into an avi?
just add ".avi" to the end of the filename but its more than likely a rar file
Rest in peace mother

You will always be with me.
You should see all the files downloaded and the complete rate. If its a rar file, either the uploader hashed it where it will only seed out 99.9 percent, or no one on there has the complete file. Give more info.
I believe that the 99.9% complete problem on BitTorrent is usually caused by the inclusion of the invisible "thumbs.db" file on Windows or it is intentional forced seeding - meaning that the person is waiting until enough people have the file to complete the torrent. It could be a problem with End Game mode or the simplest answer is that no one has the rest of the file.
Was just gonna say the samething........Originally Posted by Kevin33134
Try opening it in winrar. If it does not open then try with mediaplayer. One of them should work. Otherwise file is incomplete.
I have had this happen in maketorrent2.. It will not hash correctly and when you upload the torrent and click on it to start seeding. It will go up to 99.9 percent or 99.8percent and not 100 percent.
I have had this problem with so many torrents. does anyone know a solution so I don't have to download the whole damn thing again?

BitTorrent and Usenet have the same files so you can replace a missing rar from the other source.
I am sorry but lemme explain my situation. I am downloading SUSE 10. so I imagine Usenet would not have that. And it's got 512 KB left to download. So there must be a fix.Originally Posted by napho

Okay that's great, I could get it off news groups, but then I would have to download the whole damn thing again. Does no one have any idea how to finish the download? I don't even have an ngs account.

In my experience, it depends on the file, but usually if you locate the bittorrent incomplete file and open it with the correct program the problem sorts itself out, i.e. if it is a video file, check it with avipreview and then move the file to a different folder and give it a .avi extension. dunno if this will work with winrar files but i've always sorted it with video files this way...
why does everyone assume I am using rar files? It's an ISO file. But I will try that robbo_rules.
