Amazing film, its a got to see movie. Although the storyline can be difficult to follow in some areas it is a brilliant film. Aybody else seen it? What do you think? Hayley x

It filled some time, but I never thought I'd get bored of violence!

Iv only seen the old one based on the radio play i know how it ends so why would i want to watch a remake, and they wonder why people download films when all the do is remake old films,comics,books then make 3 sequel sfx do not make a film good.

Sort of like .:sp00ky:. made mention of, already heard the play and this is what? the third remake of the same movie? Other than the special effects isn't much to write home about. Tom really didn't seem to live up to his potential in this movie for some reason, in my opinion.

Save your money and don't go see it. If you just got to see it, rent it or even better download it. Not a must see in my book.

Terrible movie but great special effects. Overacted throughout(especially Tim Robbins character), poorly written dialogue, and generic characters. I hope that someday hollywood will get their fingers out of each others asses and do justice to some classic sci-fi storytelling with a big budget summer blockbuster. It would be nice to see a well crafted remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" or any of the classics from the genre.

Theres two remakes of it.. Gary busey played in the second film of it.. Then tom cruise in this one.. I saw it at the movie trading company. Not sure how well the second remake did.
I do own a great TC version with custom menu of war of the worlds. =)

Well ppl i am trying to downoad the torrent files in my unit.

Actually i have tried to download the torrent files :bom: but still i am not able to download the files at all since i am behind a firewall.

A firewall is blocking me from downloading the files through my network.

Also i have seen that the ports that these softwares use have been blocked by my network firewall . :icon_cycl

Could u ppl please tell me if any one knows how to create a proxy server or to unblock the ports inthe network firewall.

If u have any other means to download the files in the network which is behind the firewall.

Please help me.

Didn't really live up to my expectations thought it a bit of an anti climax but the graphics were second to no-one.

i personaly love the original and found this to be good looking but a shadow of its former self :S
