    Talking Bypassing DVD Copy Protections

Thanks to method77 from the beatking forums for this.

So you have a nice DVD collection and know it is a good practice to always backup data that you have? Well, both the DVDs and the intent to backup are good but copy protection on DVDs can be a problem. For example, CSS, or Content Scrambling System is on pretty much every Hollywood DVD you possess. With CSS present, DVD copying software doesn't work (unless it had built in ripper, which most don't for legal reasons.) This guide will take a quick run through some software that's used to free your DVD from these anti-fair use copy protections but it is important that you check the law in your country first as circumvention of copy protection is illegal in a lot of places.

Now it seems to be right. Some kind of lag or something? Oh well, great link anyway. Maybe it's all for the best, we don't really put value on something until we have to work for it a little
