rmvb in wmp

I have this converter called winavi that lets me convert from real to avi, mpeg and vob formats, which is just what I want to do. It says though, that the files have to play perfectly in WMP before they will convert properly, which is a real pain, because I can't get them to. Any ideas?

download wmp 10 it has no problems i use avi aswell '
