I have an .rmvb file I'm trying to play in Media Player Classic with the Real Alternative (1.42 I think)
It's a french movie that has a .srt subtitle file in the folder with it. I can't right click and access the "subtitles" menu, nor can I go to file>load subtitle
How can I get the subtitles file to play with the video? Any ideas? I also tried it with Real Player 10 in Linux and, no cigar.
directvobsub adds support of subtitles to wmp or ne videoplayer using its engine to display subtitles, it is very very configureable
to run, simply rename the subtitles xactly = to filename, and hit play

PS: not quite sure if it would work with media player classic, but u can always open the rmvb file with wmp, rm alternative allows u to do that
Hope this helps
Bsplayer has a simple load feature for subtitles which are completely customizable, and if its in the same folder with the same name as the film then it will automatically load! Google bsplayer!
ppf matic if its a ppf file to put on a dvd file.
I'll download WMP10 later. I've been using this stripped down version of XP I found for a while, with no WMP, but I'm finding I need it for silly crap like this.
