Bitcomet is hardly #1. Azureus is by far the most popular BT client. Further, the comparative resource usage of these clients is greatly exaggerated. While BC clearly comes out ahead when either few torrents are active or the sum size of torrents is small, as either of these factors increases, the gap betwee BC and AZ decreases steadily.
