    strange firefox behaviour

i've been using firefox1.0.4. since it came out.last night when i opened firefox it was suddenly like i had just installed it!all my extensions and bookmarks were gone, and i was getting all the standard props like you get when you first install firefox like"do you want firefox to be your default browser"etc.i havent added any extensions or add-ons recently, this just happened clear out of the blue.anyone have ideas what would cause this to happen?many thanks

Yes that happens a lot the best you can do is just leave it as is and always back up bookmarks(i believe it has backed up your bookmarks you just need to find them i forgot how i refound mine when that happened but they are there)
