What do you guys think of this recent Beta release of the eXeem program?
Poor, whibble Exeem is crying that my system is 'blocking' their 'Advertisements' from showing up on my Desktop Well, let me go ahead and unblock things for it: Uninstall.
Next...
that only is if you block the ads via the HOSTS file, but there are other ways to block the ads without having your download speed limited:
Blocking the advertising (with firewall):
You can block the advertising in eXeem with a firewall. All you need to do is block outgoing TCP connections to remote ports 80 and 8080 for client.dll
Blocking the advertising (without firewall):
If you don't have a firewall, then you can use your Internet Explorer security settings to block the advertising. Go to your Control Panel > Internet Options > Security > Restricted Sites
Click on sites. Now add the following two sites:
* jnova.cjt1.net
* client.exeem.com
Click on OK. Now click on Custom Level. Make sure everything is set on disable.
