Thanks for responding to my question. It usually starts to happen once I get a dozen or so things queued up.The incoming transfers window starts scrolling up and down randomly by itself and flashing, making it difficult to read and even harder to click.

Could it be your downloads starting ? When a file in queue starts downloading, WinMX puts it at the top of the transfer window, and when it stops, it goes back. With 12 or so of those switches happening at the same time, it could get a little confusing...

I get this too, while winMX is attempting to queue a download request, "waiting for network reply". The download window scroll bar starts bouncing up & down and selecting anything is really difficult. It sends my cpu load to 100% and destroys my other transfers (up&down). To get out of this I have to cancel all "waiting for network" requests. I'm running v3.3 on windows XP.

I think it's unlikely to be an XP issue. I am using ME and it happens to me too.
