Take-Two Interactive Software's publishing label Rockstar Games issued a press release today announcing the official North American retail debut of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Xbox and PC, with the European release date scheduled for June 10th. As usual, the underground "scene" beat the official release, and at the time of the press announcement, copies of GTA: San Andreas had already appeared in all the usual places: newsgroups, IRC, ED2K, BitTorrent, and are slowly working their way through the other P2P networks. As with any major digital file release -- whether it's a blockbuster movie, music album, or game -- there will no doubt be a liberal dose of fake files spewed out by the usual suspects onto the P2P networks in an attempt to frustrate the novice downloader. The scene release group HOODLUM has put out a cracked copy, (see NFO of the PC version) which has been claimed to run without problems. Another PC release by the group MDETH was an Alcohol image. As in most fresh releases, these ones should be considered the early rush-jobs, with all the game groups frantically competing to claim bragging rights for getting theirs out first. Better quality and less problematic versions are almost sure to soon follow in the next day or two. Visit P2P Core for the Torrent file and/or Edonkey Hash Link

i carry 1GB on my keychain and it's always full of files and software
A world of invisible people. We pass them without seeing them, as casually and indifferently as we pass our own reflections in store front windows. Do they really live among us? Or are they citizens of another country, a vast and teaming gulag of the dispossessed. No, don't turn away. Look in their faces. Do you see your brother? Your mother? An old friend? Someone you went to school with? Someone you once loved? No? You didn't see them? Not today. Tomorrow you could.
hey, I got the gta san andreas from hoodlum, does anyone know how to get all of the files onto a cd? There are like 25 rar files which i am extracting but it is going to take forever and there are other files too. Please help. I would like to get this running today, thank you in advance!
ok, i got all the files extracted onto my desktop, and now i want to burn them onto a disc should i use nero?
Ya I remember with my old 486 computer, had a 300MB hard drive in it. At the time I thought that was sufficient...now you can't even run a decent computer with that...convert it into a digital typewritter ;)Originally Posted by moneoa
