That does not go to the site but rather to a direct downloand. A download of what?
Might want to remove that link and put the actual site link up.
I am pretty sure a Mod will remove the post if you don't.

it works, though its english translation is a bit rough, and it lacks the features of more advanced clients like azureus

I tried their early realeases before...was decent, although cannot be compared to the almighty superior Azureus client...doesn't come close.
I remember they were starting some weird content search feature, or some ads I can't remember.
I even joined their old forum and some guy tried to mouth me off b/c he didn't want to upload anything and I said that's not how BT works...idiot.

www.lanspirit.net is it's official site, although they've rechanged the site dozens of times.
If that doesn't work, here's it's official English site: http://www.bytelinker.com/intl/

I myself wouldn't recommend it...although I'm basing this with previous releases. It didn't update stats with the tracker and had problems staying connected to other peers, as well sometimes painfully slow for BT (2KB/s on a well seeded torrent)

You can try it, although if you can run JAVA save the trouble and get Azureus.

Lightbulb It's a decent prog, but dnot amazing

I've tried it, it's not too bad but I prefer BitComet, for some reason it works a lot better... I also used to have problems with BitSpirit crashing, maybe they fixed it, but that was my experience. :icon_comp
