is it my PSU dying or my 9800 Pro?
ill buy a 550W psu if i must and/or a x800 :icon_salu
btw x800 pro or 6800 Ultra?
Try reinstalling drivers
If that doesnt work, replace the card
if that is still a problem, upgrade the psu
.

What are your computer specs? What's the wattage on your current PSU?

NOT OVERCLOCKED
2.53ghz P4
1 GB DDRAM
ATI Radeaon 9800 Pro
i reinstalled drivers not difference at all...and the prob seems to get worse at every startup
250W is pretty low for your setup most new pc's come with 350w standard.

After that post your voltages, and any change in them under load, as i suspect its your power supply.
Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be.
PSU Wattage is WAY TOO low, you need at least 350 if not 400 with that 9800 (It has an additional power connector AFAIK). Also having extra hard drives, DVD Drives etc adds on to the power load as well.
before you go and blow money test the shit gosh
But if you are going to blow you're money, go with nVidia. I used to be a hardcore ATi fan but then the nVidia drivers are sooooo much better, and the cards themselves seem more capable overall.
