Hi
i am a ripper with an irc group, well we are the biggest rippers today of Indian music, any1 who knows hindi music knows us
but our rips are plain .rar
as a ripper i want to spice em up, found nfo creator sfv checker and everthing
but i want a stand alone nfo viewer to be shipped with every rar, and any1 who wants to read our nfo simply click on the packed viewer, and it should launch the nfo full screen
i have seen this in one of the game releases, any more suggestion and tips to make our rips more 1337, pease advice
Thanx

it's called Damn NFO Reader.
yeah make it a txt file, i would be wary of .exe or .com packed readme's, as would most ppl im sure
Use um... AutoPlay Media Studio! It creates a standalone .exe file, and just have it display your nfo centered in the screen, with a tiny mp3 embedded in a loop or w/e (with player controlls to turn sound off).
I agree with sparky, I'd include a seperate ASCII .nfo for the people leery of .exe files.

Unless you are the following people, I do not particularly wish to associate with you:

That's it for now. This list will be updated whenever I feel like it.

this reader is good idea, only if i can find the damn program, we are seriously the biggest releasers, as old as 5 yrs now
to give u an idea, there is not a single Hindi Soudtrack or Pop cd from 2000 onwards that we havent ripped
when we rip covers are not available on internet, no info about cd can be found on commercial sites, so we had to buy scanners, we have inside sources, it is tru 0 day. :icon_boun

thats it baby is it auto play?
You can do anything you want...
If you include it in the root of an ISO image, I guess you could use the autorun.ini that is automatically generated. You create the designs, then it makes the executable for you automatically.
Otherwise just pop the single exe (without autorun.ini) in the rar file, and you're set.

Yes because the RIAA has nothing better to do then go after hindi music posters. Not to dog Indian music in generel, as I am very found of the Keema Naan.Originally Posted by sebfernando
$ wise our music market is bigger than us market, simply coz we release more than 800 movies in a year, and this is just soundtrack, just 1 genre, so that gives u an idea.
but Music Companies here know how to fight online piracy, a CD here costs around $4, and an orignal DVD for $8, so its cheaper to buy than to rip n downlaod
but we do it for fun, and online piracy is less than 1% of piracy in genereal, those will be ur fake cd markets, where u get 4 movies for 3$, and less than 1$ for 3-4 music albums
