A world of invisible people. We pass them without seeing them, as casually and indifferently as we pass our own reflections in store front windows. Do they really live among us? Or are they citizens of another country, a vast and teaming gulag of the dispossessed. No, don't turn away. Look in their faces. Do you see your brother? Your mother? An old friend? Someone you went to school with? Someone you once loved? No? You didn't see them? Not today. Tomorrow you could.
Out of all of those I thought Day was the best... Followed closly by the 2004 remake of Dawn.
I wonder if the zombies in this one are running or stumbling?
They looked more aggresive, but not like 28 Days Later aggresive. They think and work in mass, so its more of a dead army feel to it.

I thought Day of the Dead was the best (American) zombie flick when I was a kid. Now I prefer the original Night of the Living Dead. There's just something about the black and white film and cheap look to the production... seems more chilling to me. All of the flicks mentioned are great though.
Romero is no doubt the zombie master, can't wait for land of the dead!
I loved the dawn of the dead remake, but I highly recommend the unrated directors cut
Interesting order... I would go original Dawn... NOTLD then the remake... then DayOriginally Posted by cjules13
Not saying that any of them are bad...
I will be seeing this when it comes out.
I actually own all of the originals... kinda scary that I bought some VHS copies (and the worst imaginable, non-watchable NOTLD DVD).
"There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice… The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd."
I wasnt too keen on the remake - it was a bit dumbed down for my liking. And dont get me started on the running zombies.....
Im not expecting too much from Land of The Dead, Romero has not made a decent film in years. But i expect it to be at least entertaining on some level.
Dennis Hopper and the lovely Asia Argento star in it too!
Theres a over the top review of the first 14 minutes of Land Of The Dead at aintitcoolnews

Oh yah, I forgot, the scenes with Hopper ruined the preview. . I'm not looking forward to it after all
.
Movie looks like its gonna be good, cant be no worser than some of the horror/zombie movies that have came out in the past year. Looks like hollywood is also gonna remake Day of the dead. http://www.joblo.com/arrow/index.php?id=1391
The Squirrels are your friend man!
Hmmm. Don't quite get the fervor for original Day of the Dead. It took waaaaaaaaay too long to get rolling. I know that Dawn of the Dead had the lull in the middle when they are living out the barricaded mall life, but I prefer Dawn as a whole over Day.
New movie... hmm... don't know. I don't mind Hopper being there. I liked him in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. I do know I will be GOING, LIKE TO A THEATRE, to see it. These things need to be felt.
