Newsgroups are better then everything combined. The only problem is if you don't have Verizon DSL or FIOS as you ISP you must purchase bandwidth from a Usenet provider. GigaNews is the best but EasyNews and TitanNews are also good. GigaNews is $24.95 month for Unlimited. Don’t pay for a cheap server they are not worth it.

If you've got the cash or Verizon as your ISP then it is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is well worth the 25 a month. Everything and I mean everything is released on Newsgroups before bit-torrent. And your downloads always start immediately at the maximum speed your connection can handle. I use Comcast and that's 6mb right now.

You will also need a large hard and DVD burner as you can fill a 250 gig hard drive in less then a week.
